posting by email - formatting problems

I´ve tested a couple of different ways to get the correct formatting
for the content I´m posting by email. Until now, I´ve found out
that I need to send emails in plain text and in Unicode (UTF-8).

And of course, special characters like apostrophes need to be escaped with
HTML entities. Also, to create hyperlinks, I need to type in the HTML code
for a link in the email body.

However, one problem that persists is that WP keeps messing up with the line
breaks. I´m not using any line breaks inside paragraphs but
nevertheless they are included in places that seem somehow random.

Hmm - gonna play around a little bit more …
