Is Google hiring humans to influence search results ?

I´ve just seen a quite interesting article in Axandra´s weekly seo newsletter issue 165. Seems that Google is hiring individuals to check their search results for relevant sites and websites that apply spammy seo techniques.

Well - I think it´s time to immediately get rid of any un-ethical search engine optimization techniques, i.e. anything like junk page generators and other tools that you make you nervous. I say that here because I still
see some of you guys and gals (my subscribers) using tools like TrafficEqualizer and RankingPower.

A great tip for affiliate marketers:

If your site consists mainly of affiliate links and newsfeeds, you should consider adding some more original relevant and useful content in the form of articles to your site.
If you don´t have the time for writing, there are many people at Elance.com who are happy to write
quality articles for as low as 5-7 dollars per piece.
