WP Minisite - waiting to get indexed in the search engines

Last week I�ve finally found the time to create some videos to show people how they can contribute to the blog, ask and answer questions and submit their comments on articles and product reviews. I�ve also optimized my WordPress theme a bit more by adding a separate template for pages and modifying the index template in a way that the full articles only show up on individual pages while on the homepage, on archive pages and category pages, only the excerpts are displayed. (time spent: 2 hours)

I have some more details in mind regarding the optimization of Wordpress themes, but I�ll post these on the blog at EasyWebTutorials.

Continuing with our experiment: what else have I done for MyHomeCleaningTips.com ?

1. I�ve posted a couple of more articles that will be auto-published over the coming weeks. (time spent: 20 minutes)

2. To get the site indexed in the search engines, I�ve submitted the blog and its feed to a handful of feed and blog directories like shown in my blogging video tutorial. This includes submitting the blog to myYahoo. I�ve paid 3 $ for the express review on one blog directory.(time spent: 30 minutes)

3. I�ve submitted one original article to a dozen of article directories. A search for the article title didn�t return any results before I submitted it. Let�s see how many it will be by the end of this week. (time spent: 40 minutes)

I�m now waiting for the site to get fully indexed (only the homepage is currently indexed in Google and MSN) and then I�m going to add Google AdSense to the site.
